Paint a 10" x 45" silk scarf or banner with dye that is brushed directly on the fabric and blends with ease like watercolors. Resist is used to define color areas and develop designs. These techniques can be used on other fabrics. You will be able to work on your own after this workshop and you do not need to be an artist to obtain beautiful results. Exquisite clothing can be made out of painted silks, as well as pillows, kites, banners, lamp shades and much more. All materials are provided in this 4 hour workshop. Advanced students will paint a piece customized to their needs.
